ALPINE TRAINING GROUP (ATG)

The Alpine Program provides a competitive series for 12 to 17 year olds. The program continues to develop technical skills learned in the NGSL ( Nancy Greene Ski League), and includes the development of ski specific mental and physical training. Athletes in the ATG will compete in the North Zone Regional Series and possibly participate in select events in a Provincial Series and/ or Winter Games events that may take place in a season.

2020 - 2021 Rate

In addition to skier registration, there is a $50 Alberta Alpine family membership (mandatory) and a cheque payable to FMCSS (post dated for May 1, 2022 in the amount of  $500 for the Volunteer & Fundraising levy deposit). Cheque is only cashed if the commitment is not fulfilled.

Prices DOES NOT include Vista Ridge Season Pass.

SKI TRAINING DAYS

Saturday and Sunday

10:00 am - 3:00 pm

  • Some Fridays may be incorporated.

  • Start of the season depends on when Vista Ridge opens. (Usually around last week of November).

  • Detailed schedules will be updated through TEAM SNAP (free downloadable app) for skier attendance tracking.

DRYLAND TRAINING

(subject to change due to COVID-19 protocols)

Monday and Wednesday

7:00 - 8:00 pm

  • Starting Mid-September through mid-November

  • Usually at Father Merc Gym, MIP Track and MIP Pool (Wetland training).

  • Fee for this training are included in skier registration fees.
